Espace Cambre d’Aze is made up of the three typical mountain villages of Eyne, Planès and Saint-Pierre dels Forcats. An area rich in natural beauty there are numerous opportunities in the area for walking, mountain biking and horse riding.

The pretty village of Eyne is located in a valley renowned for its diverse flora and fauna. Widely explored by botanists since the 18th century and now classified as a nature reserve it provides a wonderful area to discover. There is a Mountain museum here to visit and a lovely botanical garden boasting the area’s rich flora.

Beautiful scenery is not the reserve of Eyne as Planès also enjoys a superb natural landscape nestling alongside the source of the Roc Negre River and its charming mountain lake. The cirque du Cambre d’Aze near Saint-Pierre dels Forcats culminates at a peak of 2750m and provides another stunning natural wonder to visit.

There is also a natural hot spa at the nearby village of Llo to refresh those weary legs where the water remains at an enticing 35°. When suitably refreshed the village is worth a wander especially to take in the panoramic views and the well preserved church.

The ski domain of Espace Cambre d’Aze has evolved from the linking of the two small local resorts of Eyne and Saint Pierre dels Forcats. It now offers a total of 35km of downhill pistes over 25 runs set between 1640m and 2450m in the Catalan Pyrenees. 20km of cross country tracks and snow shoe excursions complete the ski offering. For a more leisurely trip over the snow then why not indulge in a horse drawn sleigh ride.
